What is My Credit Score
A credit score is a number from 500 to 850, based on a person's credit file, to represent the likelihood that the person will pay his or her bills. A credit score is primarily based on credit report information, typically from the three major credit reporting agencies.
Credit card companies, use credit scores to evaluate the risk of lending money to people. While the most widely known score in the United States is FICO there are many others, such as NextGen and VantageScore.

620-750 You have good credit. You can apply to many cards on this site including Low Interest Cards, Cash Back Cards, Rewards Cards, Travel Rewards & Miles Cards, and Gas Rebate Cards. Look for the "Good Credit" indicator on the bottom-right of the card information box.
750-850 Congratulation, you have excellent credit! You can safely apply to any card on this site. In addition, some cards are catered just for you. Many American Express, Discover,Low Interest Cards and Cash Back Cards are designed just for people with your credit score. Look for the "Excellent Credit" indicator on the bottom-right of the card information box.
